Kathryn Vercillo
Kathryn Vercillo is a writer-artist who explores the complicated relationships between psychology and creativity. She has been a full time freelance writer since 2006 and is the author of nine books including Crochet Saved My Life and The Artist's Mind. With dual Masters studies in Integral Psychology and Visual and Critical Studies, she approaches nearly everything she does with an eye towards how it relates to the minds of individuals and the culture at large. She has written about aspects of this for various online and print publications including Sartle, Psych Central, Happily Hooked Magazine and The Spruce. Kathryn shamelessly loves both high brow and low brow culture and is an avid fan of reality TV, and she is thrilled to bring her unique perspective on it to The Escapist.
